Aloha! This Week in Pictures

Calendula is the star of our Healing Beauty Balm. We are excited for this season’s first fresh batch of healing balm. This week we began crafting a new batch that will be available soon.

Calendula has strong anti-inflammatory properties via powerful flavonoids. These plant-based antioxidants protect cells from free radical damage and pro-inflammatory compounds.

We use Ginger and Turmeric roots for our tinctures, powders and teas. These powerful roots enhance the vitality of ourselves and our gardens.

We have been hard at work harvesting the Comfrey root and leaves.  We use comfrey to make the comfrey salve and cast. This cell regenerator, also known as the Warrior or Miracle plant, helps expedite healing time and aids in recovery of sore muscles, wounds, bruises, sprains and breaks.

Trays of fresh herbs are loaded and ready for the solar dehydrators including Cacao, Lilikoi Flower, Mulberry and the adaptogenic Tulsi. More trays are consolidated as they undergo the several day, slow-drying procedure.

Cranberry Hibiscus is coming into season! Our Tropical Hibiscus Tea is coming soon. Currently only available as iced tea at local restaurants Hanalei Bread Co and JO2. We will be selling this refreshingly delicious tea on our website soon.

Cranberry Hibiscus grows best in full sun and fertile, fast-draining soil. This plant adds the perfect splash of color and beauty to our gardens.
