Product shipping

We ship our teas world wide! For more detailed and specific information see the questions and answers to the right.

How long before I receive my teas?

Our herbal teas are dried, harvested and made to order. It’s possible that the herbs that will be your tea are curing when you place your order. This means are teas are very fresh and very potent. It also means you may not receive your order for 2-3 weeks.

Generally our shipping days are Tuesdays and Fridays. Once your order is shipped we will send you a tracking number. Normal transit times are as follows:

  • Hawaii: 1-3 days
  • US mainland & Alaska: 2-6 days
  • Canada: 2-9 days. Some Canadian ports take longer than others to clear customs
  • Great Britain: 4-8 days
  • Most other European countries: 7-21 days
  • Australia & New Zealand: 7-12 days
  • Other countries: 7-30 days

Once a package leaves the United States very little tracking information is available. Most packages will reach their destination in the times shown above. Some international packages will take longer. We have no control over this, nor does the Post Office provide much tracking support for these packages.

How are my products shipped?

Currently we only ship via USPS (United States Postal Service). Because we are shipping from Hawaii, this is the most cost effective choice. It also allows us to ship to PO boxes.

I read about your cold press juices, where can I buy these?

Our cold-press juices are not pasteurized, and we do not use preservatives. They have to be refrigerated and have a relatively short shelf life. This is great for the juice! It means it’s fresh, raw, alive and potent. However, for those reasons we are not able to sell juices online or ship them. They would have to be shipped overnight, with cold packs.

Tea storage & Brewing
How much tea do I use?

A general guideline is to use one half to one teaspoon per cup of tea. You may brew it stronger or weaker to your preference. Our herbs are intended to be self-healing, which means that you must listen to your body, and adjust dosage accordingly.

How do I prepare my water?

Heat your filtered or spring water with an electric tea kettle or simply on the stove top. Remove the water from heat just before boiling; Add herbs; Steep 5-10 minutes; Enjoy!

We’ve taken great care to bring you the freshest herbal teas. Please do not microwave your water or the teas! We believe this is harmful to the live enzymes and compounds found in these raw foods. For similar reasons, also please do not boil the herbs.

What's a good plan for making tea drinking a habit?

To help create a new tea drinking habit that’s easy to integrate into your lifestyle, we recommend you brew a gallon or half gallon of tea at a time. Drink some hot, warm then store the rest in the refrigerator. Take some on the go with you. This way you will always be able to reach for it.

All of the teas will help the cells flush out waste and toxins. Water is a necessary part of this process. As your tea consumption increases be prepared to also increase your water intake. This will help ease and speed up the elimination process and help keep you feeling refreshed and hydrated.

Eating nutritious and healthy foods and getting plenty of rest is also part of the process.

Natural healing happens slowly. It has taken years for your body to accumulate toxins, excess weight and develop symptoms of general dis-ease. Cleaning out the body and refreshing the cells with healing compounds and vital nutrients takes regular use and time.

Should I add milk or sweetener to my tea?

Each tea has a unique, delicate flavor and contains many healthful compounds. We do not recommend adding milk or sweetener. If you choose a sweeter, we recommend a local honey.

How do I brew loose tea?

The teas can be brewed more than once, up to 3 times. It will become weaker in flavor each time, but as long as there’s color there are still vitamins and minerals in the tea. To brew loose tea by the cup or pot follow these instructions:

  1. Use about a teaspoon of loose tea per 8oz / 240ml of water.
  2. Place loose tea in your pot or cup, or use the infuser of your choice.
  3. Pour freshly boiled, but not boiling, water over your tea. Water temperature should be about 208º F. / 98º C.
  4. Steep tea for 5-8 minutes. Longer steeping times will result in stronger tea.
  5. Remove your tea infuser. If not using an infuser, strain your tea and enjoy.
  6. Once you’ve finished your tea, steep the leaves again until the flavor is exhausted.
  7. Leftover hot tea can be strained into a glass container, sealed and kept in the refrigerator to enjoy as cold tea later.

How do I make iced tea?

To make about a quart or liter of iced tea:

  1. Add 6 teaspoons of loose tea to a teapot.
  2. Pour about 2 cups / half liter of freshly boiled, but not boiling, water over your tea. Water temperature should be about 208º F. / 98º C.
    Steep tea for 5-8 minutes.
  3. While tea is steeping, add 2 cups / half liter of cold filtered water to a pitcher.
  4. Pour the tea into the pitcher with the cold water straining out the tea.
  5. Fill the pitcher with ice.

Which teas are good for what
Am I allergic, I'm getting a rash?

My humble opinion is that the herbs are detoxing your body, and the toxins are exiting the body in the form of a rash. However, you can avoid the rash by severely slowing down the dosage, drinking super light tea, and drinking much less often.

The herbs in the tea are very potent and you are introducing brand new medicinal plants into your system. So the slower the better, if you really want to make sustainable change that your body will truly learn from.

The toxins are what create the blockages and imbalances of your hormonal system as well as all other related systems in the body (I.e. digestion, respiratory, circulatory, etc.). They are also what eventually manifest into disease and sickness of all kinds.

There are many ways for the body to dispel toxins:

  1. Elimination through going bathroom,
  2. Sweat thru skin,
  3. Skin Rash,
  4. Mucous elimination, and
  5. Vomit.

Obviously, light and gentle bathroom experiences and some sweat from time to time would be the most desirable way to dispel toxins.

However, if the herbs force the toxins out in a hurry, they will find the quickest route that your body has to offer, and in many cases that is the skin. Water and hydration along with an alkaline diet of fruit and veggies are the key to a easy and gentle detoxification experience. In other words, preparation and support through diet is very important to avoiding unpleasant experiences like rashes.

I have personally experienced what you are going thru and it is only thru such an experience that one can truly heal. The skin rash is only skin deep. The real healing is much deeper and evolutionary in nature, and you have only experienced the surface level stuff. Detoxing with potent whole plant medicine is certainly not easy, but makes you feel your truth. And I can assure you that when you are done with that tin of tea (whenever that is, could be several months or even a year) you will feel much lighter in every way.

Which teas are best to curb my appetite and sweet tooth?

All our teas will help you get more in tune with your true appetite. The teas, which are all designed with exquisite taste in mind, will provide an alkaline foundation in your body that will then attract you to other alkaline foods. The teas will also help boost your will power and bring awareness to your life with regards to what foods are positively serving you, and what foods need to be avoided. I only speak from my own experience with the teas.

Specifically, the Wellness Tea will help with energy and to combat illness. The Tranquility will help with rest and sleep. The Love Potion will boost Libido and support the cardiovascular system. The drinking of the tea is just a conduit for the medicine. However, our tea is so uniquely fresh, that they all tastes delicious. As far as “medicine” goes, it tastes and feels great.

Generally, we look at all health issues holistically. This means that they are all related. In other words, to have more energy, we need restful night sleeps. Yet to have restful night sleeps, we need to stay away from any and all white sugar. It only takes a few days of purification and will power to appreciate what the white sugar is truly doing to your life and well-being. The teas will support the change of lifestyle in every way. You just have to drink it consistently.

Which teas are best for stomach ulcers?

The Tulsi and Lemongrass are great everyday tonics for the tummy while calming the digestion and respiratory systems. These tonic herbs are in the Wellness and Love Potion teas as well as our calming nerve tonic called Tranquility. They are all amazing medicinal teas that will help with stomach ulcers.

The other product is the Puritea Cleanse. It will help clean the digestive tract while providing essential vitamins and minerals to the stomach to restore the cells.

Which teas are good for candida?

All of our teas will be great for candida. I cleansed my body of it  approximately a year ago. Specifically, I would suggest the Puritea Cleanse, Wellness Tea, and/or Love Potion. They are all great  cleansers, will increase alkalinity in the body, boost immunity and will power and generally improve circulation. You just have to stay with it and drink it up. The further along you get with the teas, the more the candida symptoms and any related sluggishness, will dissipate. As the body becomes more alkaline, the allergies will also calm down. The allergies are generally caused by the acidity in the body. So just stay with the teas. Every sip of tea will make a difference.

Which teas support my memory and cognitive functions?

The Gotu Kola, which is known for memory and supporting brain function, is most prevalent in the Energy Tea. The Tranquility tea will also be great to calm the nervous system, which in my opinion is the key to clarity. The more calm the nervous system, the clearer your brain functions. The wellness will also support brain function as the Noni leaf is excellent for circulation.

In general, we look at healing as truly holistic. In other words, in order for the brain to function properly, the nervous system needs to be calm, which is supported by an efficient and clean digestive tract and proper rest and hydration among so many other things working together in the body. The teas will help balance the entire system. Just stay with them and let the plants do their thing. They will provide the alkaline foundation, which in turn will allow the body and mind to circulate and function more efficiently.

How We Grow Our Teas

Do you, or have you ever used, synthetic chemical fertilizers or pesticides on your farm?

No, never. We have been farming this land since 2011, and for 30 years prior the land had been horse pasture. Our intention is to grow our herbs in the highest-grade, and purest soil.

Are your plants certified organic?

We adhere to rigorous and disciplined farming practices that includes permaculture, sustainability, soil building and natural fertilizers that embrace biodiversity, holistic land management and excludes any and all synthetic toxins.

USDA regulations state that only producers who hold an organic certification may use the word organic on labels and advertisements to describe their produce or products.

We strongly believe that our soil and therefore our herbs, are of a higher-grade and are morganic than certified organic-industry standards.
