Chaste, Vitex agnus-catus.
Chaste is native tree to the Mediterranean and grows well in warm, temperate and subtropical climates. It will grow in full sun to partial shade in well-drained soil. Chaste is a flowering shrub that grows to a height of 15 feet. The tree produces a variety of colors in flowers ranging from purple to blue and white.
The fruit or berries, tender stems, and leaves are all used from this shrub.
