DESCRIPTION

Lilikoi, Passion Flower, Passiflora quadrangularis

Lilikoi is the Hawaiian name for Passion Flower and is native to subtropical wild regions of South America. The plant is a climber vine which will grow up anything it can grab a hold of and reach up to 15-20 feet per year. The flower itself is an immaculate display of nature’s beauty and the fragrance is as divine as ambrosia.

Lilikoi is a soothing nervine and calming sedative. Specifically indicated for ‘cyclic thinking’, this herb can help quell the mind and calm the nerves, promoting an internal environment fit for rest. Cooling in nature and nourishing to the nerves, Lilikoi is helpful in instances of nerve damage and nervousness. Lilikoi also has strong antispasmodic and anodyne (pain relieving) actions, which can help relieve menstrual pain, spastic coughs, muscular twitching, headaches and tooth pain. A peaceful herb that inspires confidence in our own unique beauty, Lilikoi can help comfort distress and encourage a serene existence.
